BlueGrass Valley Records has made Brad Davis ‘Walk On Faith’ project available to radio in its entirety. This includes Brad’s bluegrass version of “Black Sheep”, written by Country Johnny Mathis.
This song was recorded by Mathis back in the 60’s and also one of the few original Gospel songs that Johnny Paycheck recorded during his career. The song has developed a cult following throughout the years for its heart wrenching lyrics and ultimate question to the Creator of whether there will be “room in Heaven for a black sheep”.
